PDF Editor ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information PDF Editor collects, how it's used, and your choices — for both the app and this policy itself.

Information We Collect

  • Device information: device identifiers (e.g., Android Advertising ID / Apple's IDFA), device model, and OS version, collected for ad delivery through Google AdMob.
  • Usage data: we do not collect usage analytics. The app does not integrate any analytics or crash-reporting service beyond what your device's app store provides at the platform level.
  • Location: we do not collect this. PDF Editor has no location-based features.
  • User content: the documents, scans, and images you create, edit, and store in PDF Editor are stored locally on your device only. We do not have access to this content, and it is never transmitted to us or to any third party.
  • Account information: PDF Editor does not require an account and stores no personal account information.

How We Use Information

We use device identifiers solely to serve relevant ads through our ad partner, Google AdMob. We do not use any information to operate cloud features, since the app has none, and we do not analyze how you use the app.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with Google AdMob as described above, as required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of PDF Editor, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

Your documents and scanned content are stored locally on your device and are retained until you delete them yourself — we have no access to this data and no ability to retain, view, or delete it on your behalf. Device/advertising identifiers used for ad delivery are retained according to Google AdMob's own practices; you can reset your advertising identifier at any time in your device settings.

Your Rights & Choices

Children's Privacy

PDF Editor is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we've collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security. Because your documents never leave your device through the app itself, their security depends primarily on your device's own security (passcode, encryption, physical access).

International Data Transfers

PDF Editor is developed in France. If you're located outside France, information collected by Google AdMob may be transferred to and processed in other countries where that service's providers operate.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do, and encourage you to review this policy periodically.
