Privacy Policy for Cv Maker

Overview

Cv Maker ("we", "us", "our", developed by OSDev) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information Cv Maker collects, how it's used, and your choices — for both the app and this policy itself.

Information We Collect

• Device information: We do not currently collect device identifiers, device model, or OS version. This will change once advertising is added to the app (see Third-Party Services below) — this policy will be updated at that time.
• Usage data: We do not collect usage data, screen views, or crash reports.
• Location: Cv Maker does not use or collect location data.
• User content: Cv Maker lets you create and store CV/résumé content — your name, contact details, work history, education, skills, and similar information you choose to enter, plus an optional photo. This content is stored only on your device. It never leaves your device unless you actively choose to export or share it (as a file, or via the app's QR sharing feature) — we do not receive, transmit, or have any access to it.
• Account information: Cv Maker does not require an account and stores no personal account information.

How We Use Information

The CV content described above is used solely to provide the app's core function: building, previewing, and exporting your CV. We don't use it for anything else, because we never receive it. Once advertising is added, information collected through our ad partner will be used to deliver and, where you've consented, personalize ads.

Third-Party Services

Cv Maker is not currently integrated with any third-party service that collects data. We plan to add advertising in a future update using:

• Google AdMob (advertising) — https://policies.google.com/privacy

When that update ships, this policy will be updated to reflect it, and — for users in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland — you'll be asked for consent before any personalized advertising data is collected, with an option to change that choice anytime in Settings → Privacy Options.

Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal information. We currently share no information with anyone, because we don't collect any. Once AdMob is added, information will be shared only with that service as described above, as required by law, or to protect the rights and safety of Cv Maker, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

Your CV content stays on your device for as long as you keep it there. You can delete an individual CV at any time from within the app, or remove everything at once using Settings → Delete All Data. Uninstalling the app also removes everything, since nothing is stored anywhere else.

Your Rights & Choices

Because your CV content lives only on your device, you already hold full access, correction, and deletion rights over it directly in the app — edit any field, delete an entry, or use Delete All Data at any time. Once AdMob is active, you'll also be able to opt out of personalized advertising through Settings → Privacy Options or your device's ad settings. Children's Privacy

Cv Maker is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The app may be used by a mixed-age audience; we do not knowingly serve behavioral or interest-based advertising to users who identify as under 13. If we learn we've collected personal information from a child under 13 without verified parental consent, we will delete it promptly. A parent or guardian who believes their child has provided us with personal information can contact us at omransoliman.osdevapps@gmail.com to request its deletion.

Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can't guarantee absolute security.

International Data Transfers

Cv Maker is developed in France. We don't currently collect or transmit any personal information, so no international transfer occurs today. Once advertising is added, information collected through Google AdMob may be processed in the countries where Google operates.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time — most notably when advertising is added, as noted above. We'll update the "Last updated" date when we do, and encourage you to review this policy periodically.
