*Note to Omran: this now reflects the production AdMob setup — real app/unit IDs, plus the new rewarded-ad gate on the Adult 18+ category. Give it your own pass before hosting, especially the GDPR references given you're EU-based, and fill in the contact email below (the only placeholder left).*

Privacy Policy — Never Have I Ever

Last updated: August 23, 2026

Never Have I Ever ("the app") is developed by OSDev. This policy explains what information the app does, and doesn't, collect.

Information We Collect

The app has no account system and no backend server. Your settings (theme, accent color, and language) are stored locally on your device only. OSDev never receives, stores, or has access to this information — it never leaves your device. Uninstalling the app removes everything it has stored.

Advertising (Google AdMob)

The app displays banner ads, and shows a short rewarded video ad each time a player chooses to enter the Adult 18+ category — watching it is how that category unlocks; declining just leaves it locked. To serve and personalize these ads, Google AdMob and its partners may collect device identifiers (such as your device's advertising ID), approximate IP-based location, and other technical information, under Google's own privacy policy — not OSDev's. You can review Google's practices at https://policies.google.com/privacy, and manage ad personalization in your device settings (Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads; iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking).

OSDev does not sell your data. Since we never collect it, there's nothing to sell.

Children's Privacy

Never Have I Ever is not directed at children. Three of the app's four categories (Friends, Family, Close Friends) are for general audiences; the fourth (Adult 18+) contains mature content intended only for users 18 or older. Opening it requires an in-app age confirmation (asked once) and watching a short rewarded ad (asked every time), adding two layers of deliberate friction before that content is ever shown. The app does not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Your Rights

Because OSDev doesn't collect or process personal data on its own servers, there's generally nothing on our end for us to access, correct, or delete — the app's settings live entirely on your own device, and uninstalling it clears them. For data collected by Google AdMob, your rights — including under GDPR (EU/EEA) and CCPA (California) — are exercised through Google's own privacy tools, linked above.
